MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />AGENDA ITEM 7D <br />Tanda Gretz <br />August 26, 2002 <br />Minor Subdivision &Variance <br />1487 Ash Street <br />Corey & Shelly Bachman (applicants) <br />Warren Bachman (owner) <br />ACTION REQUIRED: 3/5 vote <br />BACKGROUND <br />Warren Bachman owns 29 acres at 1487 Ash Street and is applying for a Minor <br />Subdivision and a Variance from the minimum lot width requirements in order to split 11 <br />acres off, which he then plans to sell to his son and daughter -in -law, Corey and Shelly <br />Bachman. <br />This review is based on the following attached exhibits: <br />1. General Location Map <br />2. Certificate of Survey <br />3. Applicant Narrative ( "Variance for 1487 Ash St/Finding of Facts ") <br />ANALYSIS <br />The attached Certificate of Survey shows the proposed division of the 29 -acre parcel. <br />Parcel B, approximately 18 acres, contains Mr. Bachman's home, outbuildings and <br />agricultural fields; parcel A, approximately 11 acres, contains the balance of the property. <br />The applicants report they plan to site a home fronting Ash Street and keep the northern <br />10 acres in agriculture, thereby qualifying for Green Acres status. <br />
