• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-173 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF GRANT FUNDS FROM TARGET <br />CORPORATION TO PURCHASE DIGITAL CAMERA EQUIPMENT FOR <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />• <br />digital camera technology has been established as an effective tool in law <br />enforcement; and <br />Target Corporation has established a grant fund to assist police <br />departments in obtaining new digital camera equipment; and <br />the Police Department has applied for this grant award and been selected <br />as the recipient; and <br />Target Corporation has made a donation of these grant funds in the <br />amount of $964.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the cost of digital camera <br />equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures - Capital Outlay <br />$964.00 <br />$964.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br />the donation of $964.00 for the cost of digital camera equipment and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to Target Corporation for selecting the Lino Lakes Police Department to receive <br />these grant funds. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of November, 2002. <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />• <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />
