• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 61 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: February 14, 2000 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 2000 -13, Consideration of Joint Powers Agreement for <br />Water Service with the City of Hugo. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/4 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Lino Lakes has received a request from the City of Hugo and the developer <br />of the Wenzel Farm subdivision for water service. The City of Lino Lakes has the <br />capability to provide this service but other issues related to the joint powers agreement <br />and the development as a whole must be resolved prior to approving an agreement. <br />Additional detail on the joint powers agreement will be presented at the City Council's <br />Work Session. Based on the Work Session discussion, a recommendation regarding <br />action on this matter will be distributed with the Friday update. <br />
