• The City Council scheduled a Special City Council Meeting on May 1, 2026 to provide a <br />Public Input Session regarding Great River Energy (GRE) Easement Maintenance. As a <br />result the comments of Mr. Hermann regarding this matter presented at the April 271h <br />meeting were incorporated in the communication with GRE following the May 15t <br />meeting. <br />At the April 27th meeting High School Student Nathan N. requested that the Council <br />consider an ordinance prohibiting the sale of Menthol and Other Flavored Commercial <br />Tobacco Product sales. It would require a motion/second by the Council to schedule this <br />for further consideration. <br />Motion by Councilmember Nelson and seconded by Councilmember Rennaker to <br />schedule a discussion at a future work session regarding adopting an ordinance <br />prohibiting the sale of Menthol and Other Flavored Commercial Tobacco Product sales. <br />Councilmember Ruhland clarified that tobacco sales are currently limited to ages 21+. <br />4.
