4. LAKE DRIVE DEVELOPMENT <br />PURPOSE: <br />Establish an environment that favors more orderly commercial <br />and industrial growth on Lake Drive from Hodgson Road to <br />Main Street in Lino Lakes. <br />TIME FRAME: 2000 -2005 <br />ASSIGNED TO: Community Development team <br />STRATEGY: <br />1. Facilitate the development of a new light industrial business <br />park on Glenn Rehbein's property on Lake Drive. <br />2. Facilitate the development of the city owned parcels (3 acres) on <br />Lake Drive. <br />3. Determine the most appropriate use for the city owned parcel on <br />Lake Drive /Hodgson Road and make appropriate <br />recommendations for zoning. Facilitate the development of the <br />parcel. <br />4. Identify opportunities to consolidate site access points and <br />promote shared driveways. <br />5. Identify areas for redevelopment due to existing non - conforming <br />conditions, compatibility problems or under - utilization of the site. <br />PROJECTED RESULTS: <br />Development of Lake Drive from Hodgson Road to Main Street in a <br />manner that realizes its full potential and meets the objectives for <br />Lake Drive in the Comprehensive Plan <br />7 <br />
