LAKE BUSINESS PARK DEVELOPMENT <br />PURPOSE: <br />Facilitate the development of Glenn Rehbein's property on Lake <br />Drive to increase the commercial /industrial tax base within the <br />city. <br />TIME FRAME: 2000 -2005 <br />ASSIGNED TO: Economic Development staff <br />STRATEGY: <br />1. Develop design standards to ensure a high quality light industrial <br />development that will be part of the Town Center. <br />2. Continue to monitor the availability and use of tax increment <br />financing within the business park. <br />3. Work with Mr. Rehbein to market the new business park to select <br />prospects. <br />PROJECTED RESULTS: <br />A new Tight industrial park that will be integrated into the mixed use <br />concept of the Town Center and will provide an additional source of <br />tax revenue for the city. <br />9 <br />
