CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING t o consider a rezone of property located at <br />7880 Sunset Avenue (PID #07 -31 -22 -23 -0004) from R -Rural to PUD -Planned <br />Unit Development and an Amendment to the Development Stage <br />Plan/Preliminary Plat of Century Farm North to expand project boundary and <br />include certain property located at 7880 Sunset Avenue <br /> <br />Katie Larsen, City Planner, recommended continuing the Public Hearing as staff is <br />awaiting revised plans from the applicant . <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION at 6:34 p.m. to continue the Public Hearing to the next <br />meeting . Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson . Motion carried 5 - 0. <br /> <br /> <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING to con sider amending Section 3 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />which includes requirements for Landscaping Regulations <br /> <br />Michael Grochala, Community Development Director, presen ted the staff report. Staff <br />reviewed the proposed revisions to Section 3 of the city’s Zoning Ordinance relating to <br />landscaping. <br /> <br />Staff addressed questions from the board. <br /> <br />Chair Tralle declared the Public Hearing open at 6 :53 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no one pres ent to speak . <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 6 :54 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Nelson . Motion carried 5 - 0. <br /> <br />Mr. Nelson made a MOTION to recommend approval of amending Section 3 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance regarding landscaping regulations , with the following amendment as <br />suggested by the board : <br /> <br />Section 3, Canopy Cover Standards: specify that loading areas are excluded from the <br />vehicular hardscape areas. <br /> <br />Mot ion was supported by Mr. Hyden . Motion carried 5 - 0 . (Tralle abstaine d.) <br /> <br />6 . DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Project Updates <br /> <br />Katie Larsen, City Planner , provided an update of current city projects: <br /> <br />Bill’s Superette and G Will Liquors: A n ticipate opening in late summer . <br />
