Who would plow the alleys? <br />- The city should consider changing architectural sta ndards. <br />- T he city may be losing interested developers because the existing restrictive standards <br />are cost prohibitive . <br />- The city needs to allow for much more flexibility and be less prescriptive . <br />- The existing architectural standards are now outdated. <br />- The s ite should be red e f i ned as mixed us e to allow more flexibility . <br />- Would like to see a more form -based design guideline rather than traditional zoning <br />laws and guidelines. <br />- Do es the neighborhood block need to develop first in order for the other blocks to <br />deve lop? <br />- Concerned about where the business loading areas will be in the urban block. <br />- The city will need to revisit a nd update the signage requirements in addition to the <br />ar chitectural requirement s. <br />- The city should identify current products that could be allow ed . <br />- In favor of the identity of the three blocks for development. <br />- Staff should revisit Option B for the Town Square – does not provide for an urban <br />edge when the majority of the site is a parking lot on the street edge. <br />- The board encourages development of this area. <br /> <br />Ms. Lindahl explained that t he master plan should be considered a tool to s how how the <br />site plan could work and how the street edge could develop. A master plan g ives an idea <br />for the overall development of the site. <br /> <br />B.
