Who would plow the alleys?
- The city should consider changing architectural sta ndards.
- T he city may be losing interested developers because the existing restrictive standards
are cost prohibitive .
- The city needs to allow for much more flexibility and be less prescriptive .
- The existing architectural standards are now outdated.
- The s ite should be red e f i ned as mixed us e to allow more flexibility .
- Would like to see a more form -based design guideline rather than traditional zoning
laws and guidelines.
- Do es the neighborhood block need to develop first in order for the other blocks to
deve lop?
- Concerned about where the business loading areas will be in the urban block.
- The city will need to revisit a nd update the signage requirements in addition to the
ar chitectural requirement s.
- The city should identify current products that could be allow ed .
- In favor of the identity of the three blocks for development.
- Staff should revisit Option B for the Town Square – does not provide for an urban
edge when the majority of the site is a parking lot on the street edge.
- The board encourages development of this area.

Ms. Lindahl explained that t he master plan should be considered a tool to s how how the
site plan could work and how the street edge could develop. A master plan g ives an idea
for the overall development of the site.

B.
