Council Member <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 -97 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING FLUSHER TRUCK AND FLUSHER <br />EQUIPMENT CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the purchase of a Flusher Truck and <br />Flusher Equipment, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on September <br />28, 2000, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />Amount of Bid <br />Stepp Manufacturing Co, Inc. <br />Ruffridge- Johnson Equipment Company, Inc. <br />Crysteel Truck Equipment <br />$96,936.30 <br />$108,521.37 <br />$113,050.80 <br />AND WHEREAS, Stepp Manufacturing's bid is incomplete and unresponsive, it appears that <br />Ruffridge- Johnson Equipment Company, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Ruffridge- Johnson Equipment Company, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the <br />purchase of the Flusher Truck and Flusher Equipment according to the bid specifications on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of October, 2000. <br />John J. Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted <br />CERTIFICATION <br />I hereby certify that the above is a correct copy of a resolution duly passed, adopted and <br />approved by the City Council on October 9, 2000. <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />
