AGENDA ITEM 76 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 9, 2000 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 00 -83, Receive Feasibility Report and Call Hearing <br />on Improvement — Bluebill Ponds Utility and Street Improvements <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On June 12, 2000, the City Council ordered the preparation of a feasibility report <br />investigating the costs to construct sanitary sewer, watermain, streets, and storm <br />sewer within the Bluebill Ponds subdivision. Bluebill Ponds is located on the <br />south side of Main Street, across from Wood Duck Trail. The feasibility report is <br />nearly complete and will be distributed to the City Council on Monday evening. <br />In accordance with Minnesota State Statutes 429, the feasibility report is to be <br />received by council and a public hearing scheduled. Based on the preliminary <br />schedule, the hearing will be scheduled for November 13, 2000, at which time a <br />detailed review of the feasibility report will be presented. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution Number 00 -83 receiving the feasibility report and calling for <br />a hearing on improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to Council to adopt Resolution Number 00 -83. <br />
