Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 -83 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT — <br />BLUEBILL PONDS UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted June 12, 2000, a report has <br />been prepared by the City Engineer, with reference to the improvement of Bluebill <br />Ponds by constructing sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and storm sewer, and this <br />report was received by the council on October 9, 2000, and, <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with the report and the <br />assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 and the Lino Lakes <br />City Charter at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,586,923. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on the 13th day of <br />November, 2000, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 9th day of October, 2000. <br />John J.
