• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7 B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Mary Kay Wyland <br />MEETING DATE: December 11, 2000 <br />TOPIC: <br />PUBLIC HEARING, Ordinance No. 17 -00, Vacation of <br />unconstructed cul -de -sac right -of -way on Lois Lane <br />(property known as 7870 Country Lane) <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 4/5`b Vote Required <br />DESCRIPTION: <br />Mr. Barry Przybylski of 7870 Country Lane has requested the vacation of the <br />unconstructed cul -de -sac on the north/east corner of his property. This right -of -way was <br />secured as a part of the Mar Don Acres plat in 1978 and is no longer necessary due to the <br />recently developed Highland Meadows West Plat. Lois Lane now continues to the east <br />from Mr. Przybylski's property. <br />Staff has published the vacation, as required, in the legal newspaper and Mr. Przybylski is <br />the only affected property owner. In our review of the request we see no reason to keep <br />this right -of -way due to the newly constructed extension of Lois Lane easterly and would, <br />therefore, recommend adoption of Ordinance No. 17 -00 Vacating the Right -of -Way. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1.
