• <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 6, 2000 <br />Council Member Dahl stated that with a cluster of 427 units, the project may become a <br />city within a city that is not for the rest of the residents. Staff advised the commercial <br />development will be focused to Lake Drive with housing in the back. <br />Council Member Dahl stated the City does not have a lot of area to develop commercial <br />property. She stated she believes the Town Center area is a prime area for commercial <br />development. <br />The City Administrator advised staff is following direction given by previous Council's. <br />If the Council doesn't agree with the project, staff needs a new direction. <br />Council Member Reinert stated 24 units per acre is huge and 240 rental units is way too <br />high within the City of Lino Lakes. Densities have to be looked at in relation to the City <br />you are in. <br />Council Member O'Donnell stated Lino Lakes services a speci <br />does not serve the young or old.
