• <br />s <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-126 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COOPERATIVE TRAIL GRANT <br />FROM THE DNR IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes submitted a Cooperative Trail Linkage Grant Application <br />on February 24, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources informed the City of Lino Lakes <br />that the Grant Application was approved by the Legislative Commission of Minnesota Resources <br />on August 3, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, a resolution accepting the $30,000 grant award is required by the DNR: and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes recognizes the matching requirement; and <br />WHEREAS, the fiscal agent for this grant is Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director, 600 <br />Town Center Parkway, Lino Lakes, MN 55014. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, the <br />Council accepts the Cooperative Trail Linkage Grant award in the amount of $30,000 as partial <br />funding for the trails projects. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 18th day of December, 2000. <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, Clerk - Treasurer <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following against same: <br />41 Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />RD /Corr/City Council /accept dnr trails grant <br />
