MEETING DATE: January 8, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution 01 -01, Approving. the Final Plat <br />Highland Meadows West 2' Addn. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Highland Meadows West 2" Addition includes land within the northern portion of <br />Highland Meadows West. The 2nd Addition will create four lots: two new single family <br />lots and two lots which contain existing houses. It will also create a 50 ft. extension of <br />Marilyn Drive. The City Council approved the preliminary plat for the 2" Addition on <br />December 11, 2000. <br />Standard City policy for final plat approval requires: <br />1. Final plat drawing that substantially conforms to the approved preliminary plat <br />2. Complete development agreement <br />3. Financial securities as described in the development agreement <br />4. Title commitment approval by City Attorney <br />5. Conditions of approval must be met <br />The final plat drawing submitted December 7, 2000 conforms to the preliminary plat. <br />The development agreement and securities will be assembled by meeting time. The title <br />information is acceptable to the City Attorney. The three conditions of approval will be <br />met through the City's normal project review and monitoring. This includes the <br />requirement that no further development will occur in the large outlot unless the <br />development plan addresses safe and efficient circulation in the area. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt Resolution 01 -01 approving the final plat for Highland Meadows West 2" <br />Addition.. <br />2. Return to staff with direction. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />• Option 1 <br />
