Council Member <br />its adoption. <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 01 -20 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF <br />OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANT APPLICATION FOR <br />DEVELOPMENT OF CLEARWATER CREEK PARK <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes act as legal sponsor for the project contained in the <br />Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Application to be submitted on March 28, 2001 and that the Public <br />Services Director is hearby authorized to apply to the Department of Natural Resources for funding of this <br />project on behalf of the City of Lino Lakes. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes has the legal authority to apply for financial <br />assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate construction, <br />operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for its design life. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes has not incurred any costs described on Item 4 <br />and has not entered into any written agreements to purchase property described on Item 3. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes has not violated any Federal, State, or Local <br />laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or <br />corrupt practice. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state, the City of Lino Lakes <br />may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above - referenced project, and that the City <br />of Lino Lakes certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant <br />agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Rick DeGardner is hearby authorized to execute such <br />agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant. <br />I CERTIFY THAT the above resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes on <br />February 12, 2001. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
