• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7C <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: April 23, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 01 -59, Receive Feasibility Study and Call Hearing <br />on Improvement — 2001 21st Avenue Street and Utility. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the March 12, 2001, City Council meeting, a study was ordered to evaluate <br />the construction of roadways and storm sewer and the associated costs on 21st <br />Avenue, south of Main Street, and a portion of Northern Lights Boulevard. The <br />report is being prepared and will be delivered to the City Council at the meeting <br />Monday evening. Staff is requesting that Council receive the report and call a <br />hearing on the improvement. The hearing is scheduled for May 28, 2001, at <br />which time a detailed review of the feasibility report will be presented. <br />In accordance with Minnesota State Statutes 429, the feasibility report is to be <br />received by council and a public hearing scheduled. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 01 -59, Receive the Feasibility Study and CaII Hearing <br />for the 2001 21st Avenue Street and Utility Improvement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 01 -59 be adopted. <br />
