AGENDA ITEM 71 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: June 11, 2001 <br />TOPIC: <br />Resolution No. 01 -81, Order the Improvement and Preparation of <br />Plans and Specifications — 2001 21st Avenue Street and Storm <br />Sewer. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 4/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the May 28, 2001, City Council meeting, a hearing was held on the proposed <br />installation of roadway and storm sewer improvements on 21st Avenue and a <br />portion of Northern Lights Boulevard. <br />In accordance with Minnesota State Statutes 429, the next step is to order the <br />improvement and preparation of construction documents. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 01 -81, Order the Improvement and Preparation of <br />Plans and Specifications for the 2001 21st Avenue Street and Storm Sewer <br />Improvement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 01 -81 be adopted. <br />
