Irt <br />4 <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 4D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jean Viger, Deputy City Clerk <br />DATE OF MEETING: June 11, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 01- 64, Approving Application for <br />Peddlers License. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Anthony Scott Lawler, president of Infinity Advertising has requested authorization for <br />his company to sell promotions (see attached) door to door for Kelly's Corner Restaurant <br />in Centerville and Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Stacy, Minnesota. <br />Attached please find the completed application, a list of names, addresses and date of <br />birth of each individual that will be operating in the city. Also attached is a photo ID of <br />each agent. Because of the poor quality of the pictures I have requested Mr. Lawler to <br />send a photo of each agent at least 2 "X2" as required by city ordinance 612.05. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 01 -64, Approving Application for Peddlers License <br />contingent on background check. <br />2. Deny Resolution No. 01 -64, Approving Application for Peddlers License. <br />3. Return to staff for further review and /or action. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option #1: Approve Resolution 01 -64. <br />
