Comments/Revisions to Sheet 7 and 8, Preliminary Landscape and Planting Plan: <br />a. The landscape plan shall include Open Area Landscape calculations as required <br />per ordinance. <br />b. Planting schedule (symbols, quantities, common and botanical names and sizes of <br />plant materials) and Planting Detail shall be included for all Open Area, Buffer, <br />Boulevard and Tree Preservation and Mitigation plantings. <br />12. Comments/Revisions to Tree Removal Worksheet: <br />a. Actual tree preservation and mitigation calculations shall be provided in chart <br />format as shown on page 3-44 of Tree Preservation and Mitigation Standards <br />ordinance. <br />b. Please include this chart with calculations on the Tree Removal Worksheet. <br />13. It is strongly recommended that a cul-de-sac should be installed at the northern end of <br />Old Birch Street. (added by the P&Z Board) <br />14. If a cul-de-sac is not installed at the northern end of Old Birch Street, then the east <br />intersection of Birch St. and Old Birch Street should become a right-in/right-out only. <br />(added by the P&Z Board) <br />15. The east/west section of Old Birch Street shall be improved with a bituminous <br />overlay per city standards. (added by the P&Z Board) <br />16. Either a left turn lane or a bypass lane should be installed on Birch Street. (added by <br />the P&Z Board) <br />Mr. Laden stated that he likes the proposed development, but is going to vote against it <br />because he is not convinced that the connection to Foxborough is going to be made. <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 4 - 1. (Laden voting nay.) <br />Staff noted that this item is tentatively scheduled for the City Council Meeting on <br />February 10, 2014. <br />C. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING to consider a Rezone to Planned Unit <br />Development and PUD Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Palt for a mixed <br />densitv residential development (222 single familv lots and 85 unit multi-famil <br />Avenue S (CSAH 54) and Cedar Street <br />Katie Larsen, City Planner, recommended continuing the Public Hearing to allow more <br />time for staff and the developer to make revisions. <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to continue the Public Hearing to the February 12, 2014 <br />P&Z Meeting. <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson.
