The
planning team engaged government officials in local
meetings and planning workshops to discuss and complete
tasks associated with preparing the Plan. This working
group coordinated all aspects of the plan development
process and became formally recognized as the Anoka
County Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee. In addition
to regular meetings, committee members routinely
communicated and were kept informed through a
dedicated e-mail distribution group. Additional participation and input from county residents and
other identified stakeholders were sought through the distribution of public notices and the
facilitation of public meetings,
in cooperation with the Minnesota
B. Does the plan indicate who was
involved in the planning process?
(For example, who led the
development at the staff level and
were there any external
contributors such as contractors?
Who participated on the plan
committee, provided information,
reviewed drafts, etc. ?)
11
