• <br />Anoka County Multi - Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br />In addition to differing levels of vulnerability to <br />identified hazards; individual municipalities can also <br />suffer significant differences in losses resulting from <br />the impact and extent of a disaster. Generally these <br />losses are a direct result of population density, <br />commercial development, or housing density/ value. <br />Within the discussion of each hazard in Section 4.3 <br />Hazard Analysis, The narrative identifies those <br />municipalities and specific areas of the county that <br />have increased vulnerability and impact to that <br />hazard and notes the factors contributing to an <br />increased impact or vulnerability. The table below <br />depicts the differing aspects of losses by <br />jurisdiction. <br />Multi- hazard Requirement <br />§201.6(c)(2)(i): The risk assessment shall <br />include a description of the location and <br />extent of all natural hazards that can affect <br />the jurisdiction. The plan shall include <br />information on previous occurrences of <br />hazard events and on the probability of <br />future hazard events. <br />FMA Requirement §78.5(b): Description <br />of the existing flood hazard and <br />identification of the flood risk, and the <br />extent of flood depth and damage potential <br />B. Does the risk assessment identify the <br />extent (i.e., magnitude or severity) of each <br />hazard addressed in the plan? <br />ANOKA COUNTY — IMPACT OF POTENTIAL HAZARD INCIDENT * <br />High =3 <br />Medium =2 <br />Low =1 <br />Jurisdiction <br />c <br />f <br />o <br />LI <br />Pandemic <br />Thunderstorm <br />Tornado <br />Winter storm <br />Wildfires <br />Hazmat <br />Meth Lab <br />E <br />c) L <br />Q <br /> <br />Urban Fire <br />Anoka County <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Andover <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Anoka <br />2 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Bethel <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Blaine <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Burns Township <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Centerville <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Circle Pines <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Columbia Heights <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Columbus <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Coon Rapids <br />2 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />East Bethel <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Fridley <br />3 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Ham Lake <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Hilltop <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Lexington <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Lino Lakes <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Linwood Township <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Oak Grove <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Ramsey <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />St. Francis <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />Spring Lake Park <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />1 <br />3 <br />2 <br />Totals <br />26 <br />66 <br />22 <br />44 <br />22 <br />36 <br />44 <br />22 <br />66 <br />36 <br />3 = High — Significant and lasting destructive effect on lives or property <br />2 = Medium — Moderate destructive effect on lives or property; recovery is moderately <br />expensive and /or takes longer to accomplish <br />
