History <br />Arthur E. Thom Acres was originally platted in 1949. A minor subdivision to subdivide <br />250 Linda Avenue (Lots 3 and 4, Block 2, Arthur E. Thom Acres) into two (2) residential <br />lots was approved in 1997. A preliminary and final plat for Collova Addition proposing <br />to further subdivide Lots 3 and 4, Block 2, Arthur E. Thom Acres into a total 6 residential <br />lots was submitted in 1998 by PC Collova Builders, Inc. The application was withdrawn <br />by the developer. New homes were constructed on 250 Linda Avenue and 6200 Laurene <br />Avenue in 2000. <br />A residential home currently exists at 260 Linda Avenue. The preliminary plat creates <br />one (1) new lot to the west and one (1) new lot to the east of the existing home. <br />A public hearing was held by the Planning & Zoning Board on February 12, 2014 and <br />continued to March 12, 2014. The final plat will not be approved with the preliminary <br />plat and a Land Use Application for the final plat will be required. <br />The Planning & Zoning Staff Report dated February 12, 2014 precedes this report.
