Lino Lakes Police Department <br />Checklist Requirements for Kennel License <br />A Conditional Use Permit has been issued by Community Development <br />Department. <br />[Every kennel shall be enclosed or fenced in such a manner as to prevent the <br />running at large or escape of animals confined therein. <br />'The Kennel application containing the following: <br />✓Whether the license is for commercial or private purposes. <br />(- ✓The location of the premises of the kennel along with the home and <br />work telephone numbers of the licensee and one other person who <br />could be contacted in the absence. of. the licensee. <br />• - neiiber =ad e= µkepi -on ren isc <br />The term "Adult ", as used herein, shall include any dog over six <br />months of age. <br />'A site plan showing the location, size, and type of all structures for <br />housing, fencing, and runs for dogs. Separate housing and runs for <br />dogs shall be a minimum of 50 feet from any neighboring habitable <br />dwelling and 100 feet from any property line, or located in the middle <br />of the parcel, which ever is greater. If the dogs are to be kept <br />primarily within a building, the applicant shall so state. <br />YWhether the applicant anticipates breeding the animals and, if so, <br />how often and the expected size of the litters. <br />[The method to be used to keep premises in a sanitary state. <br />[The method to be used to keep the animals quiet. <br />EIXn agreement by the applicant that the premises may be inspected <br />by the City at all reasonable times <br />'"The premises kept in a sanitary or healthful condition (502.5 subd 2A). <br />Minnesota Statute Chapter 346.39 DOGS AND CATS Subd. 12. Sanitation. Food and <br />water receptacles must be accessible to each animal and located so as to minimize <br />contamination by excreta. Feeding and water receptacles must be kept clean. <br />Disposable food receptacles must be discarded when soiled. Measures must be taken <br />
