•
3rd QUARTER — OFFICER STEVE WAGNER
Officer Steve Wagner was recognized for his commitment
and dedication to Firearms and Defensive Tactics training both for
the department and throughout Anoka County. He was
instrumental in planning a county -wide shoot using his
professional and educational lesson plans; and for spending
countless hours developing the video tape curriculum. He further
conducted the department's Defensive Tactics and Active Threat
training on September 13, 2006.
4th QUARTER — OFFICER JOEL MARTIN
Officer Joel Martin
Officer Steve Wagner
Officer Joel Martin was recognized for his excellent
performance in apprehending suspects who on two occasions
constructed homemade bombs that exploded in two residential
neighborhoods. Upon interviewing witnesses he was able to
gain their trust and confirm a vehicle description. Through a
coordinated effort with other members of the police
department Officer Martin was able to locate the suspects by
utilizing visual clues and ultimately arrested the suspects for
possession of explosive and incendiary devices.
On behalf of the Lino Lakes Police Department we thank and commend each of you for your
efforts!
Lino Lakes Police Department 2006 Annual Report 7
