<br />I worked as assistant to Philip Rickey, a Saint Paul based sculptor for work done on site in Northern Minnesota. My
<br />responsibilities included collaboration in tool and material selection. Developing models and measuring devices
<br />to fit large stones together. Executing carving and polishing of stone sculptures, helping to oversee other
<br />assistants in grinding and polishing. Assisting in staging, loading for transport and installation of sculpture.
<br />Philip and I worked long hours during many weeks and some weekends, we shared meals, living quarters and a
<br />passion for sculpture and stone for over three months during the process. Commissioned by Wellstone Action.
