REFERENCES, POTENTIAL CONFLICTS, AND CLAIMS Long -term relationships and commitment to public service are the cornerstone of success for our Municipal Clients. We offer you the following list of references and welcome you to contact them regarding the quality of our services. Because our team has obtained their most recent and relevant experience working in the City of Lino Lakes, we have extended our reference list beyond the Lino Lakes City staff members that would otherwise be the most representative references on our behalf. (651) 426 -1296 Mike Quigley, President Pine Glen Development (763) 755 -6554 Marcel Eibensteiner, President Royal Oaks Realty (651) 483 -5518 TKDA ENGINEERING • ARCHITECTURE • PLANNING Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest TKDA warrants that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, and except as otherwise disclosed, there are no relevant facts or circumstances which could give rise to organizational conflicts of interest for TKDA to serve as the Lino Lakes City Engineer. If after the award, an organizational conflict of interest is discovered, an immediate and full disclosure in writing will be made to the City Administrator, which will include a description of the action TKDA has taken or proposes to take to avoid or mitigate such conflicts. In accepting the position of City Engineer, TKDA is committing its representation to the City of Lino Lakes and will decline other work opportunities that may be a real or perceived conflict of interest to the City. TKDA's Municipal Services Division works almost exclusively for public sector agencies, primarily for cities and townships. Together with TKDA's four other Divisions, Rail, Surface Transportation, Facilities, and Aviation, TKDA also provides professional services to many other local, regional, state, and federal government agencies. However, no conflicts of interest have been discovered between Lino Lakes and other agencies. As a matter of business practice, TKDA does not work for private developers in Minnesota, and specifically will not represent private developers within our client communities. TKDA occasionally represents industrial corporations and /or institutions, and has worked on major redevelopment projects for local planning and economic development authorities. Claims and Complaints There have been no insurance claims and no ethics complaints taken against TKDA, or any of TKDA's Engineers over the past five (5) years. There are no actions pending or currently under review by any state ethics boards. TKDA staff are experienced and knowledgeable professionals who hold themselves to the highest standards. TKDA Project specifications reflect decades of experience and knowledge of many engineers, clients, and the industry standard practices. Our specifications carefully and thoroughly cover project related and construction site management issues including quantity management, contractor payments, warranty issues, and construction scheduling. Through the consistent and careful use of the these tried and proven Contract Documents and Specifications, TKDA has successfully resolved project issues before reaching the court system.
