1 lI tilQ ffr s `
page 5 1 Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.
Approach to City Engineering for
Lino Lakes
As one of the largest and most diverse municipal consulting firms in
the region, SEH has the comprehensive resources and staff to deliver
all services identified in your request for proposals. As a key member
of the City's staff, your City Engineer must function like a full -time
staff member while also providing the right amount of services to meet
your needs. We must constantly tailor services to meet your current
needs but yet always be available to provide more when necessary.
Proven Extension of City Staff
We have dedicated Todd Blank as your City Engineer. Todd has over 23
years of Municipal Engineering experience, is a Principal of SEH, has
provided effective City Engineering solutions for more than 15 years,
and is supported by a full- service team with successful Lino Lakes
experience. Todd will be assisted by Tony Kutzke.
We will review your needs together with you and determine ways to
reduce your engineering costs. This may include finding ways to
provide accessibility to you and the public while reducing standard City
Hall office hours, or finding ways to use tools like GIS to improve
operations. Todd will provide flexible City Hall office hours that allow
appropriate access while potentially reducing your engineering costs.
We will provide a level of service that efficiently fits your current needs
and creates more value for you. When not at City Hall, we are still
accessible to your staff and constituents. You can expect a prompt
response, sometimes within minutes, even if just to acknowledge
an issue and discuss solutions. If we are not at
City Hall, we can be there in less than 30
minutes.
As a City Engineer, Todd has attended
regular Department Head meetings,
Community Development team meetings,
held regular City Hall office hours and even
served as acting Community Development
Director when there was a staff vacancy. This
experience allows us to get up to speed
quickly to provide more value for you.
Transition Plan
When a City makes a change in their
professional staff, one concern is the
transition to a new firm that may not be
familiar with the City or City staff.
