Capital Improvement Planning (CIP) and improving Your Streets We provide you a team whose focus is street reconstruction. We will work closely with your Administrator, Public Works, Community Development, and Finance staff to review, update and successfully implement your CIP and especially your street reconstruction program. Todd and his team have helped initiate, implement and administer these programs in the cities of Cambridge, Oakdale, Vadnais Heights, Crystal, and Plymouth. Aging streets must be improved to meet your community's needs and to maintain property values. With over 100 miles of public streets to maintain, this is an increasing challenge for you. Maintenance with seal coating and overlays alone are not enough and eventually a street must be reconstructed. These projects are not always popular, and they are difficult to do with your Charter rules, but they are necessary and must be done. With our public communications support staff, we will work closely with you, your attorney, and financial advisor to fund a way to improve your streets. Our proven record of consistently delivering these projects under budget provides confidence in future success. It is difficult to implement and maintain a successful street reconstruction program. We provide you a proven team. Working closely with Mike Grochala, Todd has done this before in the City of Cambridge where, about 15 years ago, another consultant tried to start a street reconstruction program but after two years was unsuccessful. SEH performed a pavement management study, prepared a comprehensive street reconstruction program, and began implementation in 2001 with a downtown area reconstruction. Ten years later, over 12 miles of business district and residential neighborhoods have been improved at a total cost of more than $23 million with no cost overruns. Tony routinely assists the City Engineer with project design, construction administration, and attending City Council meetings. Tony was a construction site engineer for your Town Center and Lake Drive interchange projects, and he currently is the primary engineer serving the City of Vadnais Heights where he is responsible for delivering a wide variety of services including annual street maintenance projects. Todd and Tony are both located in the SEH St. Paul office, which is less than 15 miles from Lino Lakes City Hall. They are available to provide City Hall office hours to best fit your needs. Our team is less than a half -hour away and with a support staff of over 20 other municipal engineering and approximately 200 other engineering professionals from this office alone, they have the full resources to quickly meet all of your needs.
