Improving Your Community and Tax Base We will be a key member of your team to help improve your community with new and redeveloped commercial and residential areas which in turn improves your tax base. This Mn /DOT program requires annual review and reporting, and is the basis for your share of gas tax funds which you receive annually. This is a finite revenue source shared by all Cities, so it is important that your system is properly managed to receive the most funding. Our management along with a positive working relationship with your local Mn /DOT State Aid Engineer, Greg Coughlin, assures you receive maximum funding. Todd has over 15 years experience successfully managing a state aid street system highlighted by increasing annual funding received by 20% over the last five years, securing an additional $350,000 in funds for a trunk highway turnback project — even after funding was at its capped limit, and negotiating a $2.1 million payment from Mn /DOT for another trunk highway turnback.
