Structural SEH provides a range of structural engineering, including bridge design and inspection, building structural and miscellaneous retaining walls, drainage structures, and coating evaluations. For each project, we consider re -use and life -cycle options for existing structures, and in the design of new facilities, we explore design that minimizes materials, incorporates recycled or recyclable materials, and provides the longest service life. Our eight structural engineers and technicians are located in the metro area to provide sound ideas for your projects promptly and economically. Jeff Johnson, PE Structural Lead Jeff brings nearly 30 years of experience in structural design and management of bridges, drainage structures, and building analysis. He has designed more than 400 bridges for state and local governments. Outdoor Lighting Our lighting specialists keep abreast of new technologies that provide innovative solutions that ensure reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and reduce energy costs. We specialize in the design and installation of intelligent lighting systems for streets, parks and trails, buildings, and monuments. Kenneth Taillon Street Lighting Lead Ken has 19 years experience with a wide range of lighting design experience in downtown areas and streetscapes, roadways, landscape and architectural lighting, sports facilities, and lighting maintenance. He supports client needs by developing and providing services in areas of project management, design, planning and policy development, and construction administration for projects involving any type of lighting. page 19 Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. Public InvolvementlCommunications Clear and open communication is an avenue to keep the community informed of progress and project needs so they can understand the long -term value of improving City -owned infrastructure. SEH will support the City with public involvement and communications services that keep your residents and businesses informed and involved. When the City needs to communicate project information, our public involvement plan will provide your residents with a high level of confidence in project outcomes. Once projects are underway, we remain sensitive to the needs of your residents who may "live" the projects every day. We also understand how critical it is for businesses to be involved in developing project solutions that minimize disruptions and provide access to their customers. Building on traditional public outreach approaches, such as open houses and newsletters, SEH offers project websites and social media tools like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube videos to ensure that your residents have access to the information they want. Mark Benson Public Involvement, Facilitation Lino Lakes resident Mark Benson leads our Public Involvement efforts. He is trained in the nationally recognized Systematic Development of Informed Consent (SDIC) that helps keep communities informed and involved. He was Project Manager for the Stillwater Lift Bridge Facilitation Services. which was a politically charged process that Mark and his team navigated using SDIC principles. Dawn Williams Public Involvement, Communications Dawn brings 19 years experience managing public relations, media relations, issues management, and crisis communication. Dawn understands communications from our clients' perspective. having served as Public Information Manager for the City of Minneapolis Community Development Agency; Assistant Communications Director for the Minnesota Department of Transportation; and Communications Director for the City of Elgin, III.
