Our <br />eight structural engineers and technicians are <br />located in the metro area to provide sound ideas <br />for your projects promptly and economically. <br />Jeff Johnson, PE <br />Structural Lead <br />Jeff brings nearly 30 years of <br />experience in structural design and <br />management of bridges, drainage <br />structures, and building analysis. He has <br />designed more than 400 bridges for <br />state and local governments. <br />Outdoor Lighting <br />Our lighting specialists keep abreast of new <br />technologies that provide innovative solutions <br />that ensure reliability, reduce maintenance costs, <br />and reduce energy costs. We specialize in the <br />design and installation of intelligent lighting <br />systems for streets, parks and trails, buildings, <br />and monuments. <br />Kenneth Taillon <br />Street Lighting Lead <br />Ken has 19 years experience with a <br />wide range of lighting design <br />experience in downtown areas and <br />streetscapes, roadways, landscape <br />and architectural lighting, sports <br />facilities, and lighting maintenance. <br />He supports client needs by developing and providing <br />services in areas of project management, design, <br />planning and policy development, and construction <br />administration for projects involving any type of lighting. <br />page 19 Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. <br />Public InvolvementlCommunications <br />Clear and open communication is an avenue to <br />keep the community informed of progress and <br />project needs so they can understand the long -term <br />value of improving City -owned infrastructure. SEH <br />will support the City with public involvement and <br />communications services that keep your residents <br />and businesses informed and involved. <br />When the City needs to communicate project <br />information, our public involvement plan will <br />provide your residents with a high level of <br />confidence in project outcomes. <br />Once projects are underway, we remain sensitive to <br />the needs of your residents who may "live" the <br />projects every day. We also understand how critical <br />it is for businesses to be involved in developing <br />project solutions that minimize disruptions and <br />provide access to their customers. Building on <br />traditional public outreach approaches, such as <br />open houses and newsletters, SEH offers project <br />websites and social media tools like Facebook, <br />Twitter, and Youtube videos to ensure that your <br />residents have access to the information they want. <br />Mark Benson <br />Public Involvement, Facilitation <br />Lino Lakes resident Mark Benson <br />leads our Public Involvement <br />efforts. He is trained in the <br />nationally recognized Systematic <br />Development of Informed Consent <br />(SDIC) that helps keep <br />communities informed and <br />involved. He was Project Manager for the Stillwater Lift <br />Bridge Facilitation Services. which was a politically <br />charged process that Mark and his team navigated using <br />SDIC principles. <br />Dawn Williams <br />Public Involvement, Communications <br />Dawn brings 19 years experience <br />managing public relations, media <br />relations, issues management, and <br />crisis communication. Dawn <br />understands communications from <br />our clients' perspective. having <br />served as Public Information Manager for the City of <br />Minneapolis Community Development Agency; <br />Assistant Communications Director for the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation; and Communications <br />Director for the City of Elgin, III. <br />
