dentification and <br />Qualifications of Assigned Personnel <br />Proposed City Engineer <br />We are proposing a unique and experienced team with <br />proven expertise in the areas we believe to be important <br />to the City of Lino Lakes. As shown on the organizational <br />chart on the following page, many from our team have <br />strong familiarity with the City and the surrounding area. <br />Jason Wedel, PE <br />CITY ENGINEER <br />Jason's depth of experience makes him <br />the ideal candidate for the Lino Lakes City <br />Engineer role. <br />• Consultant Engineer (Lino Lakes) <br />• Staff Public Works Director /City <br />Engineer (Savage) <br />• Director of Land Development (Pulte <br />Homes) <br />Jason has more than 15 years of experience in municipal <br />engineering. Jason has the experience and background <br />necessary to assist the City in planning, design, and <br />construction of all types of infrastructure projects with <br />excellence. <br />"Jason is effective at <br />identifying, prioritizing and <br />finding creative solutions to <br />maintain infrastructure. He <br />is well received by both City <br />staff and council members." <br />-BARRY STOCK <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />CITY OF SAVAGE <br />Jason's experience working <br />in the City of Lino Lakes will <br />provide him with a solid <br />foundation related to the <br />City's infrastructure pattem <br />and the culture of the staff and <br />residents, which will enable <br />him to hit the ground <br />running on engineering <br />matters. <br />After working for TKDA, Jason <br />was hired to be the Public Works Director /City Engineer for <br />the City of Savage. During his tenure at the City of Savage <br />he provided direction and supervision to the Engineering, <br />Street, Utilities, and Parks Departments (total of 45 <br />employees). His responsibilities included the following: <br />WSB <br />& Associates. Inc. <br />• Oversight of the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for City improvement projects <br />• Updated information related to MSAS needs <br />• Preparation and review of annual budgets <br />• Updated the City's five year CIP <br />• Provided direction to the City Council <br />• Coordinated new projects with state and county officials <br />• Applied for and received both state and federal <br />funding for bridge and major roadway improvements <br />Jason's experience working as the in -house Public <br />Works Director /City Engineer provides him with the <br />management level expertise to work cooperatively <br />with City staff, monitor schedules and budgets, <br />control costs, and deliver service at a high level. <br />Jason also has experience working for a national home <br />building company (Pulte Homes) as their Director of Land. <br />While in that role, Jason performed duties related to land <br />acquisition, entitlement, and development, which provides <br />him with a unique perspective and understanding of how <br />developers and cities can collaborate to develop mutually <br />beneficial assets for the community. Jason's experience <br />provided opportunities to develop projects located in 17 <br />different communities, including the neighboring cities of <br />Blaine and Hugo, and to observe how the various cities <br />work with developers to achieve their goals. <br />Jason's land development experience will provide <br />tremendous value to the City of Lino Lakes when <br />development activity returns and will help to meet the <br />City's goals associated with land development projects. <br />Additionally, Jason also spent three years as the Vice <br />Chair of the Planning Commission for the City of Savage. <br />Jason's experience on the Planning Commission will <br />benefit the City of Lino Lakes by providing him with a <br />board member perspective on understanding policy and <br />public involvement related to development issues. <br />Identification and Qualifications of Assigned Personnel alp <br />
