Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -163 <br />AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR AN OUTDOOR EVENT AT MILLER'S ON MAIN ON OCTOBER 27, 2007 <br />WHEREAS, Chad Wagner of Miller's on Main has submitted an application for a <br />special event an outdoor event entitled "Oktoberfest" to be held on October 27, <br />2007, and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with previous approvals, and recognizing that <br />successfully implementing an event of this type requires ongoing communication <br />and instruction, staff recommends that conditions of approval be attached and <br />incorporated into this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has expressed a willingness to be bound to the <br />conditions recommended by staff (Attachment A) and to continue to work with <br />staff to address additional concerns which may arise; <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department and the Fire Department has reviewed the <br />application for public safety components and event plans and conducted the <br />necessary background investigation on the applicant and have found no reason <br />to deny the permits; <br />WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance is on file; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant a Special Event <br />Permit to Miller's on Main for an outdoor event on October 27, 2007 subject to <br />the attached conditions (Attachments A) <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24TH day of <br />September, 2007. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
