Studenski, City Engineer <br />Re: 77th Street Realignment Feasibility Study <br />Background <br />The 77th Street Realignment Feasibility Study dated September 14, 2007 includes street, <br />traffic signal, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain improvements. The <br />constructions costs for the improvements, which includes house demolition costs, a 10% <br />contingency and 25% indirect costs (legal, engineering, and administrative) is estimated <br />to be $338,900 based on recent construction projects. <br />Acquisition of private property will be required to provide adequate right -of -way for the <br />77th Street realignment. The section on page 6 of your feasibility study includes <br />estimated right -of -way and property acquisition costs provided by City staff based on <br />recent right -of -way and property acquisitions. <br />The 77th Street Realignment Feasibility Study was distributed to City Council Member on <br />September 19, 2007. Please bring your copy for discussion. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />We are requesting feedback from City Council on the 77th Street Realignment Feasibility <br />Study. <br />1 <br />
