Studenski, City Engineer <br />RE: 77th Street Realignment Feasibility Study <br />The 77th Street Realignment Feasibility Study was authorized by the City Council on July <br />23, 2007. The report was initiated by the City to determine the feasibility of the <br />realignment of 77th Street to complete a four legged intersection at the existing Lake <br />Drive / Market Place Drive Intersection. <br />The attached feasibility study dated September 14, 2007 includes street, traffic signal, <br />storm sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain improvements. The constructions costs for <br />the improvements, which includes house demolition costs, a 10% contingency and 25% <br />indirect costs (legal, engineering, and administrative) is estimated to be $338,900 based <br />on recent construction projects. <br />Acquisition of private property will be required to provide adequate right -of -way for the <br />77th Street realignment.
