• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1 E <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Al Rolek <br />MEETING DATE October 22, 2007 <br />TOPIC Consider Resolution 07 -180 Authorizing the Certification of <br />Delinquent Water and Sewer Utility Charges for collection <br />with 2007 Property Taxes Payable in 2008 <br />VOTE REQUIRED <br />Simple Majority (3/5) <br />Staff periodically brings before the City Council delinquent water and sewer utility charges <br />for certification to the County Auditor for collection with the following year property taxes. <br />Affected property owners received mailed notice of this proceeding and have been allowed <br />ample time to pay the delinquent charges. <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution 07 -180 authorizing the <br />certification of delinquent water and sewer utility charges to be collected with 2007 property <br />taxes payable in 2008 at an interest rate of 8% per annum. <br />1) Adopt Resolution No. 07 -180. <br />2) Retum to staff for further review. <br />3) Do not adopt Resolution No. 07 -180. <br />Option 1. <br />
