EOC Command <br />Emergency Management Team <br />Immediate Concerns <br />Command Section Checklist: <br />❑ Notify City Administrator and City Council of significant emergency situation that could affect <br />the jurisdiction. Time notification was made <br />❑ Activate the City Emergency Operation Center if appropriate. EOC activated at: <br />o <br />❑ Contact appropriate city personnel to staff the EOC. Contacted at : <br />❑ Manage EOC resources and direct EOC operations. <br />- Process available information. <br />• Establish a "significant event" log. <br />• Display appropriate information in the EOC. <br />• Collect damage information from all available sources. <br />• Identify resource needs. <br />• Prepare situation status reports. <br />• Prepare and schedule briefings for EOC staff. <br />Establish Logistical support function for responders and victims. <br />- Consideration of alternate EOC use. <br />- Terminate and close EOC operations. <br />❑ Establish communications between EOC, EOC Staff, and Incident Command. <br />❑ Are shelter areas needed? Has Red Cross been notified to provide this service <br />❑ Assist the PIO with news releases and rumor control. <br />❑ Coordinate with mass (congregate) care coordinator to ensure establishment of sufficient mass <br />care facilities. <br />❑ Contact on scene Incident Commander. Verify the immediate needs for field personnel. <br />❑ Are there protective actions implemented for public safety? (e.g. shelter -in place evacuation <br />etc.) <br />❑ Evaluate available resources, including personnel; check resource lists; determine deficiencies; <br />take action to secure needed resources. <br />❑ Primary Communications <br />Single Trunk Line with 200 assigned directory numbers <br />(1) 800 MHz Base Station Radios with UPS <br />1 Police <br />33 <br />• <br />
