In consultation with local and/or state hazardous material specialists, the <br />Emergency Management Director will be responsible for determining when <br />evacuees can safely return to their residence. <br />C. Fire Protection <br />1. Fire protection in the City of Lino Lakes is the responsibility of the Centennial <br />Fire District. This is a fire chief, 2 full -time and 50 volunteer department. The <br />fire chief is responsible for fire protection for residents of Lino Lakes. A map of <br />coverage is available at the Centennial Fire District office. <br />2. Supporting. In addition to their primary responsibility of providing fire <br />protection, the Centennial Fire District in Lino Lakes will have other <br />responsibility in the event of a disaster. This varies from department to <br />department, but generally includes: <br />a. Assisting in the dissemination of warnings. <br />b. Coordinating or assisting with an evacuation within Lino Lakes. <br />c. Coordinating or assisting with a search and rescue effort within Lino <br />Lakes. <br />d. Informing other local government personnel of the risks associated with <br />a hazardous materials incident/accident that has occurred within Lino <br />Lakes. <br />e. Reporting important disaster status information (casualties, damage, <br />evacuation status, chemical releases /exposures, radiation levels, etc) to <br />the EOC during emergency operations. <br />f. Responding to hazardous materials incidents within the limits of <br />HAZMAT response training received. <br />g. Providing heavy and light rescue services. <br />h.
