Any City of Lino Lakes employees who are affected by the contract work <br />must be provided with, read, and understand the contractors and sub- <br />contractors pertinent written safety programs. <br />8. The primary contractor on any project will dete P which safety <br />program(s) to follow for the contractor's em p yees and for sub- <br />contractors. <br />F. Sub - contractors <br />1. Sub - contractors are bound by the same obligations as'yptractors, or the <br />purposes of this program. All sub- contractors must provi .cater of <br />insurance, and name City of Lino Lakes as an "Addition " ured" on <br />their policies. <br />2. Supervision of sub -contr . ors is responsibility of the primary <br />contractor who has hired the *,-,contrantor. <br />3. Sub - contractors must provide a cop w of any pertinent written safety <br />programs and records of pertinent safety training to City of Lino Lakes <br />and to the primary contractor prior to beginning any work. <br />0. The d ted representative of City of Lino Lakes has the authority to <br />immediaIy halt any acts performed by the contractor and sub - <br />contractor. any. <br />3. Contractors are responsible for supervision of their personnel and sub - <br />contractors at all times. <br />4. All problems must be communicated promptly. <br />H. Large projects <br />1. Details of fire safety and site security for a large project should be <br />determined prior to awarding a contract, and should be written into the bid <br />specifications and the contract. If these details change while the project is <br />in progress, the contract should be amended. <br />2. If City of Lino Lakes provides employees for fire watch, security, etc., <br />Recommendations and comments are provided for loss control and risk exposure improvement purposes only in <br />conjunction with the insurance program referenced above. What "insurance program` is referenced above? They are not <br />made for the purpose of complying with the requirements of any law, rule or regulation. We do not infer or imply in the <br />making of these recommendations and comments that all sites were reviewed or that all possibie hazards were noted.
