• July 27 2010 <br />Page 3 <br />• <br />• <br />Section 8: Termination <br />The City, at any time, may terminate this agreement, with or without cause. In the event <br />you are terminated by the Council, after successfully completing a one (1) year <br />probationary period and during such time you are willing and able to perform your duties <br />under this agreement, then in that event, the City agrees to pay you , severance payment <br />[rte c" i�t Of your current salary, benefits and deferred compensation for a period of <br />two (2) months. You shall also be compensated for all earned sick leave, vacation, <br />holidays, compensatory time, and other accrued benefits to the date of termination under <br />the terms of the city's personnel policy. In the event you are terminated for cause, then in <br />that event the City shall have no obligation to pay the severance payments. <br />mou <br />Section 9: Term <br />The term of this agreement shall be from August 16, 2010 through August 16, 2012. <br />However, nothing in this agreement shall prevent the City Council by a majority vote of all <br />its members from discharging the Employee at will. <br />This agreement shall be automatically extended on the same terms annually at the end of <br />the term. <br />If any provision, or portion thereof, contained in this agreement is held to be <br />unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable, the remainder of this agreement , or portion <br />thereof, shall be deemed severable, shall not be affected, and shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Lino Lakes has caused this agreement to be signed <br />and executed in its behalf by its Mayor, and duly attested by it City Clerk and the <br />Employee has signed and executed this agreement. <br />Administrator <br />Date <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />
