July 27 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />immediately begin to accumulate vacation days at the rate of 4.62 hours per pay period. <br />At the end of your probationary period, you will accumulate vacation days at the rate of <br />6.15 hours per pay period. <br />You will receive the same number of paid holidays (12) as other employees. The actual <br />days are listed in the Lino Lakes Personnel Policy Handbook. <br />Section 5: Mileage and Expenses <br />The City Administrator shall be paid mileage expenses at the IRS approved rate for use of <br />a personal vehicle for City business, excluding travel between the Employee's residence <br />and place of business. The City will pay mileage expenses when provided with <br />appropriate documentation. <br />The City shall reimburse the City Administrator's job related expenses which is anticipated <br />will incur from time to time, when provided appropriate documentation. <br />Section 6: Subscriptions /Dues /Professional Development <br />The City will pay for the subscriptions of job related periodicals and newsletters, as well as <br />dues for ICMA, MCMA and other national, regional, state and local professional <br />organizations subject to Council approval and budgetary considerations. <br />Upon mutual agreement, the City will budget and pay for tuition, travel and subsistence <br />expenses for short courses, conferences, institutes and seminars necessary for your <br />continued professional development. <br />Section 7: Suspension <br />The City may suspend you with full pay and benefits at any time during this agreement, <br />but only if: <br />(1) a majority of the Council and you agree, or <br />(2) after a public hearing, a majority of the Council votes to suspend you for just <br />cause provided, however, you have been given written notice setting forth <br />the charges at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
