1 REVISOR 7045.0845 <br />7045.0845 PROHIBITIONS ON DISPOSAL OF USED OIL. <br />Subpart 1. Land disposal and land application prohibition. No person shall place <br />used oil in solid waste, apply used oil as a dust suppressant or for road treatment, or <br />otherwise place used oil in or on the land or waters of the state, including wastewater and <br />stormwater collection systems, except as provided in part 7045.0820 or unless approved <br />by the commissioner. <br />Subp. 2. Burning limitations. Persons shall burn off- specification used oil fuel in <br />only the following devices: <br />A. industrial furnaces identified in part 7045.0020, subpart 43b; <br />B. boilers, as defined in part 7045.0020, subpart 6a, items C and D, or used <br />oil -fired burning units provided the burner meets the requirements of part 7045.0855, <br />subpart 3; <br />C. hazardous waste incinerators subject to regulation under parts 7045.0542 <br />and 7045.0640; or <br />D. marine and diesel engines. <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 116.07 <br />History: 20 SR 715 <br />Posted: July 13, 2009 <br />Copyright ©2009 by the Revisor of Statutes, State of Minnesota.
