The breakdown of awards for your three requests is as follows: <br />• $12,750.00 on your request for $25,000.00 to increase your Community Resource <br />Coordinator position from a % to a full -time position. <br />• $4,696.88 for credentialing software, GPS units and for training expenses. The <br />portable radios requested are not authorized for the Citizen Corps program on the <br />Authorized Equipment List (AEL). <br />• $1750.00 to provide CPR and first aid training to 100 volunteers. This award breaks <br />down to $300 to train a CPR/first aid instructor, $700 to cover class costs and <br />$750.00 for manikin rental. Purchase of manikins (casualty simulators) is not <br />allowed for the Citizen Corps program in the Authorized Equipment List (AEL). <br />Please follow these steps to ensure compliance with Department of Homeland Security <br />(DHS) requirements: <br />1. Review the allowable funding activities below, by September 15, 2010. If you <br />have any questions about this grant award notification process or if your contact <br />information changes, please notify the MN Citizen Corps Program Manager, Dennis <br />Walter by e -mail at dennis.walter(a�state.mn.us. <br />2. Log on to the Web Enabled Grant Operations (WEGO) website <br />(www.wego.state.mn.us) to submit your proposal electronically, by close of business <br />(4:30 PM), September 30, 2010. <br />3.
