STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />AGENDA ITEM 6C <br />Michael Grochala <br />January 9, 2006 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 06 -01, <br />Authorizing Photogrammetric Mapping <br />Services <br />ACTION REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND <br />Included in the engineering budget for 2006 are professional services for aerial mapping <br />and development of 2 foot contours of the City. The mapping, based on aerial <br />photography, will provide invaluable information for general engineering and planning <br />studies as well as storm water management modeling. <br />The City has received a proposal from MarkHurd to provide this service in the amount of <br />$50,750. The cost of the services is funded from the Surface Water Management Fund <br />and Aerial Mapping fees collected from development projects. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 06 -01. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
