Parks <br />The purpose of the Park system is to provide a comprehensive, balanced and high quality system of <br />Parks, natural /open spaces and trails to use and enjoy in a cost effective manner. This is <br />accomplished through the acquisition and planning of land areas, maintenance, development, and <br />inspection to ensure safety and a quality recreation experience.. Currently, the City maintains 19 <br />parks with a total of 217 acres. Each year, the City allocates $15,000 for trail improvements.
