PUBLIC HEARING for a Conditional Use P ermit to allow an automobile and <br />truck repair facility, Po mp’s Tire, to be located at 7385 Apollo Court <br /> <br />Staff stated applicant had requested approva l of a Conditional Use Permit to allow an <br />Auto Repair Facility and Site and Buildi ng Plan Review for a 30,870 square foot tire <br />warehouse/installation facility at 7385 Apollo Court. <br /> <br />Staff presented their analysis and reco mmended approval subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. A performance agreement must be execute d between the devel oper and the City <br />prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> <br />2. Issues discussed in the C ity Engineer review memo must be addressed to his <br />satisfaction. <br /> <br />3. All lighting fixtures must be shoebox, dow ncast fixtures in accordance with the <br />requirements of Subdivision 4, Sec tion F of the zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />4. The trash enclosure must be relocated, properly screened, and constructed of <br />complementary materials as requ ired by Section 8, Subdivision 1. <br /> <br />5. A revised landscape plan must be submitted by the applicant depicting <br />conformance with the buffer requirements of Section 8, Subdivision 1. This <br />revised landscape plan must also ad dress all of the comments of the <br />environmental board and must be submitte d prior to the City Council review of <br />the project. <br /> <br />6. A revised site plan depicti ng the full right-of-way width for Apollo Drive must be <br />submitted by the applicant. This must be submitted prior to the City Council <br />review of the project. <br /> <br />7. The entire length of Apollo Court must be completed to full City standards prior <br />to the project receiving a Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> <br />8. A revised building elevation depicting a cornice element of appropriate scale and <br />constructed of durable materials must be submitted by the applicant prior to the <br />City Council review of the project. <br /> <br />9. All landscaped and planted ar eas, including any berm plantings, must be irrigated. <br /> <br />Mr. Rafferty arrived at 6:46 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Rafferty expressed concern with the elevation of the building. He noted the <br />neighboring properties had more in their elevations and he was looking for more <br />elevation on this building as well. He stated he wanted something put in that would fit
