Approach 14 • Information on the web sites • Four town meetings held in different City locations facilitate by Springsted • Targeted focus groups identified and led by strategic civic partners Optional activities can include but are not limited to: • Additional Town meetings with audience participation technology • Key informant interviews • Intercept (person -on- the - street) interviews designed to get feedback from hard -to -reach audiences • Interactive web site that allows residents to react to information and respond to specific questions Adopted Vision • City staff, Springsted, and the strategic civic partners will summarize and present feedback received in the outreach activities to the City Council in a four -hour facilitated session. This information will be used by the city council to modify and refine the preliminary vision. • Direction to draft and/or visually depict the 2030 vision will be given to the consultant and the Staff Steering Committee. • A final vision presentation will be developed and presented to the City Council for formal adoption. Landmarks Three landmarks in the Community Partnership Model are: • Community kickoff • Identification of preliminary vision and outreach efforts • Vision adopted by the City Council Staff Implications Staff Steering Committee: • Identify strategic civic partners who would be willing to review and comment on the environmental scan document and attend a meeting with them • Provide guidance to Springsted on meeting planning and preparation • Participate in all planning sessions • Provide guidance on planning and implementation of community outreach efforts Other staff roles include: Lino Lakes, Minnesota.
