Approach <br />14 <br />• Information on the web sites <br />• Four town meetings held in different City <br />locations facilitate by Springsted <br />• Targeted focus groups identified and led by <br />strategic civic partners <br />Optional activities can include but are not limited to: <br />• Additional Town meetings with audience <br />participation technology <br />• Key informant interviews <br />• Intercept (person -on- the - street) interviews <br />designed to get feedback from hard -to -reach <br />audiences <br />• Interactive web site that allows residents to <br />react to information and respond to specific <br />questions <br />Adopted Vision <br />• City staff, Springsted, and the strategic civic <br />partners will summarize and present feedback <br />received in the outreach activities to the City <br />Council in a four -hour facilitated session. This <br />information will be used by the city council to <br />modify and refine the preliminary vision. <br />• Direction to draft and/or visually depict the <br />2030 vision will be given to the consultant and <br />the Staff Steering Committee. <br />• A final vision presentation will be developed <br />and presented to the City Council for formal <br />adoption. <br />Landmarks <br />Three landmarks in the Community Partnership Model <br />are: <br />• Community kickoff <br />• Identification of preliminary vision and <br />outreach efforts <br />• Vision adopted by the City Council <br />Staff Implications <br />Staff Steering Committee: <br />• Identify strategic civic partners who would be <br />willing to review and comment on the <br />environmental scan document and attend a <br />meeting with them <br />• Provide guidance to Springsted on meeting <br />planning and preparation <br />• Participate in all planning sessions <br />• Provide guidance on planning and <br />implementation of community outreach efforts <br />Other staff roles include: <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota.
