• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM I B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: June 12, 2006 <br />TOPIC Consider Renewal of 3.2 Beer <br />(On Sale and Off Sale) Licenses <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />All liquor, wine, beer (3.2) and dance licenses in the City of Lino Lakes expire on <br />June 30, 2006. Staff has been working with the license holders to put in place all <br />renewal information to allow for Council consideration. <br />On May 22, 2006, the Council approved the renewal of all liquor, club, wine and dance <br />licenses and, as appropriate, those renewals have been submitted to the State <br />Department of Public Safety for their consideration. Requests for renewal of 3.2 Beer <br />On and Off Sale licenses (that do not require state approval) have been received from <br />the following: <br />Anoka County Parks <br />Target Corporation <br />Jason Snyder <br />Chomomix Golf Course <br />Super Target <br />Bobby & Steve's Auto World <br />3.2 On -Sale <br />3.2 Off -Sale <br />3.2 Off -Sale <br />These license holders have completed the necessary documentation addressing local <br />and state requirements for the license they request. The Police Department has <br />completed background investigations for the applicants and has indicated no new <br />information that would lead to a denial of any of these licenses. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt Resolution 06 -93 approving renewal of 3.2 Beer (on and off sale) licenses <br />for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007. <br />2.
