• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -126 <br />AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR A CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL AUGUST 18 THROUGH 20, 2006 <br />WHEREAS, Michelle Sylvander, on behalf of the Blue Heron Days Committee, <br />has submitted an application for a special event permit to allow a "kiddie" carnival <br />in conjunction with the Blue Heron Days Festival on August 18 through 20, 2006, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the carnival would be held on city -owned property and the Council <br />granted authorization to use said property on July 24, 2006, contingent upon <br />submission of appropriate insurance documentation; <br />WHEREAS, the carnival would be conducted by Cody Rides; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted plans to meet parking requirements, <br />trash and clean -up, lighting, security and sanitation needs; and <br />WHEREAS, proof of liability insurance for the City has been submitted by the <br />applicant; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant Special Event <br />Permit to the Blue Heron Days Committee for their sponsorship of a kiddie <br />carnival on August 18 through 20, 2006 on City land adjacent and south of the <br />American Legion facility at 7731 Lake Drive. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14TH day of August, <br />2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />John J.
