• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -129 <br />AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR A FOOD, FUN AND GAMES EVENT AT THE <br />CIRCLE LEX VFW POST #6583 <br />WHEREAS, Circle Lex VFW Post #6583, has submitted an application for a <br />special event permit to allow for a food, fun and games event on August 19, <br />2006, in conjunction with the Blue Heron Days festival; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has identified the following activities that will be a part <br />of this event: <br />Clowns, face painting, watermelon eating contest; <br />WHEREAS, all elements of the event will be conducted on the VFW property at <br />7868 Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted plans to meet the City's requirements; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, proof of liability insurance for the City has been submitted by the <br />applicant; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant Special Event <br />Permit to VFW Post 7868, to hold a food, fun and games event on their property <br />at 7868 Lake Drive. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14TH day of August, <br />2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />• Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />John J.
